Pyrenees Tour 3 - Spanish Motorhome Adventures - Tunnels and Edges!

In the next leg of our Pyrenees Motorhome Tour we head for the retreat campsite in San Marcial. Along the way there we overnight in Sallent de Gállego and drive up to see the Canfranc International railway station. 00:00 Intro 01:44 Sallent de Gallego Motorhome Aire 03:09 Arrive San Marcial Retreat 04:49 eBike Tunnels and Villages 12:56 Hike Tunnels and Edges 29:48 Sangria We stay in a large free Aire just outside the ski village of Sallent de Gallego, there were many lovely bars and restaurants and we had a chilled evening there before heading off the next day. Our plan was to overnight next at the Canfranc International railway station but we didn’t see any good overnight options so we continued on to the retreat campsite in San Marcial. Wow - what a find this campsite was, there is nothing around except mountain nature hence the label of the Retreat. The scenery right on the doorstep was amazing, we had two days with a truly great hike and bike ride. The campsite owner only speaks a little English but is very friendly and helpful. We can’t say the same for his dogs! They are quite scary. Be sure to sample there Sangeria, it's not expensive but is very tasty! The ebike ride wasn’t planned at all and when riding out into the mountains there were battery concerns as we rode further and further away from base. Thankfully all turned out well and we were rewarded with several picturesque villages and a series of tunnels. If you ride this bike lights are a must! https://www.wikiloc.com/ebike-trails/...
