Riding the Stelvio 2025

Riding my motorbike up the Stelvio Pass was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. As the road climbed higher into the Alps, each corner revealed even more dramatic views of snow-capped peaks and deep mountain valleys. The pass rises to an altitude of approximately 2,757 metres (9,045 feet) above sea level and is famous for its 48 numbered hairpin bends on the northern approach from Prato allo Stelvio, creating one of the most iconic motorcycling roads in the world. Leaning through each tight switchback demanded concentration and precision, but the reward was breathtaking scenery and an incredible sense of achievement. Reaching the summit after conquering all 48 hairpins felt like arriving at the roof of Italy, with panoramic alpine views stretching in every direction.
