Nemo takes them to Atlantis. The journey continues and the Nautilus goes to the South Pole where it is attacked by a warship. It gets stuck between blocks of ice when it tries to submerge. Willy Fog suggests they put on their diving suits and try to melt the ice with hot water. They do this and just when they are running out of oxygen Nemo makes the Nautilus emerge again and breaks through the remaining ice.
