This England: Stalybridge Station. Granada TV 1984
A 25 minute documentary about the daily life of Stalybridge Railway Station. Fiilmed in 1984, it shows the heritage of the world famous Buffet Bar. Highlights include stories of how the Bar was faced with closure, the rail accident of 1963 and the day to day running of the station. As a point of interest, the train driver at 2:41 was also a local Cricket umpire that once gave me out and I've yet to forgive him.
