The Archaeological Remains Of An Enormous Civil War Siege
Huge defensive earthworks, remnants of one of the bloodiest Civil War sieges, surround a manor house in High Ercall in Shropshire. If records of the time are to be believed, half the house is missing, probably destroyed soon after the Royalists were overrun. Tony and the Team try to find the missing building and reconstruct the events that led to its demolition. Welcome to Unearthed History -- the home for all things archaeological!
