Alexandra Hofmann grew up as the daughter of Josef Hofmann (1948–2023)[1] and Elisabeth Hofmann, together with her sister Anita, in Jungnau.[2][3] She became known as one half of the duo Geschwister Hofmann, which she formed with her sister Anita. The Hofmann siblings were a successful pop and folk music duo who have released several albums and appeared on German television since the 1990s. Hofmann also plays several instruments, including piano, pan flute, harp, saxophone, and accordion. Alexandra Geiger has been married to Dietmar Geiger since July 28, 2001, and they have two sons. The family lives in Meßkirch.[4]
