Watch This BEFORE Growing Out Your Gray Hair

Do I have to cut my hair short to go gray? Can I just go to a salon and have my hair dyed gray? What do I do if I want to give up and dye it again? how long does it take to grow out your gray hair? These are the things you need to know before you start growing out your gray hair! And that's exactly what I'm going to be talking about in this video Many women want to know...will I have to cut my hair off to go gray? I get it, most of us have spent decades trying to cover up even the slightest appearance of gray hair at our roots let alone letting that stripe get bigger than that, and now we are supposed to walk around with two toned hair? The thought of this is what probably holds a lot of women back Here's the short answer: no, I don't think you need to cut it. In fact many women just start letting their hair grow in without doing anything to camouflage it. But let me give you the long answer and trust me it's very worth listening to...because there are a couple of caveats. Yyou might be one of those women who thinks "I will never get my hair color blended" and think you're going to grow it out cold turkey, but later decide that you want to blend the demarcation line with highlights and lowlights to be more confident as you go. That's what happened to me. Back when I was deciding to go gray, I sort of thought that I would just let it grow out without doing anything g with it but as I went I became not only impatient and wanting to hurry it along, but I didn't like the reddish orange color of parts of my hair that still had dye on them so I finally just decided to pívot and I had my hair professionally color blended. So just keep that in mind that there's no right way to grow out your gray, you may try different things to conceal the stripe like root touch up sprays or color depositing conditioners, wearing hats, getting a gray hair color blending like you see in those Jack Martin videos @jackmartincolorist , or you may decided to just cut those dyed ends off after a time.
