Played with Thrustmaster ESWAP X Pro Controller. Now it's time to get into detail about this championship and this game. The first thing that helps for this game is to know the differences between taking a corner in 2nd gear and taking a corner in 3rd gear. Taking a corner in 2nd allows you to get a tighter line, while using 3rd gear allows you to keep more speed throughout and for the exit of the corner. Knowing which gear to use is key to saving time on the courses, and is why MT is reccomended. The next thing, which is for the 10 year championships, is that the default tire that is selected for each map isn't always the best tire. For the other years, you can win with the default tire selections, but in the 10th year, it is highly advised that you change to a better tire type if there is a better type for the course terrain and weather conditions available, especially for the 4th race. If in doubt, just use this video as a guide for what tire type you should pick. Also, you can practice the courses in Time Attack, and even though you can't adjust the weather conditions in TA, it is still very good for practicing specific courses.
