Sony Handycam CCD-TRV67: Review and Test Footage
The CCD-TRV67 was released in 2000 alongside the CCD-TRV17, CCD-TRV37, and CCD-TRV57 for Video8 models, and the CCD-TRV87 as the Hi8 “XR” model. Long-time viewers may remember the review of 2001’s CCD-TRV68; this is going to be the continuation of that series. While the comparison between the TRV68 and TRV67 will not be a focal point of this text, the basic theme of the former, naturally, remains true: This unit was caught among the trend of removing features from the Hi8 models, and, while not to the extent of the TRV68, the cutting’s rough edge is, unfortunately, noticeable. Thanks for watching my video, hopefully y'all enjoyed; I've been having fun taking these camcorders on adventures. As you can see, I got the opportunity to take this unit out to Denver! Was very neat to see such a beautiful city through the camera's lens, my dream is to be able to take more camcorders like this one around the world to grab more unique test videos! Oh, also, my bad for completely forgetting to test the nightshot and video light, they're virtually identical to that of the TRV68.
