Please subscribe —    / rileyleemusic   The Cygnet Folk Festival is held every year in southern Tasmania in January, which of course is over the summer holidays here in Australia. The hot Aussie summers are not so hot down there! The music festival is relatively small. The town of Cygnet that hosts it is tiny. IMO, both are exactly the right size! That's one of the many reasons that this festival has always been one of my all-time favourites. I hope to go back again. I gave four or five concerts at the 2024 Cygnet Folk Festival. This short video is a taste of one of those concerts, held in a small church. In most of the concerts, I was joined on stage by singer Quin Thomson, with whom I've been collaborating for decades.
