The Loosduin Museum recently reopened its doors for a new exhibition with the resounding title: Estates and Farmhouses with a Story. Throughout history, Loosduinen has boasted a number of country estates, country houses, and farms. Some of these estates still exist, certainly in name. Think of the Ockenburgh estate and country house, or the Rosenburgh or Bloemendaal country estates. Rosenburg (the letter "h" disappeared from the name) later became a mental health institution, as did the Bloemendaal estate. You are very welcome at the Loosduin Museum.
