(5/6/2016) Greater Manchester 7077 Leyland Atlantean AN68 WBN955L - NWVRT Running Day - Route 90

Built to SELNEC's specification, Park Royal bodied 7077 was delivered in 1972. It suffered a low bridge accident and was converted to open top. It was the bus which brought Manchester United home after they won the European Cup in May 1999. SELNEC Preservation Society purchased 7077 in 2002 and has restored it in GMT livery. http://www.selnec.org.uk/7077.htm The SELNEC/GMT standard Atlanteans and Fleetlines have the characteristic front design which differs little between Park Royal and Northern Counties bodied examples. They also have a modern and neat cab layout, with an array of well captioned warning lights on the left, gauges at the front, gear selector and switches on the right. The SCG 4-speed semi-automatic gearbox is coupled to the Leyland O.680 engine, which generates a charming tone while giving the bus a lively performance. Thank you for watching!
