What Is Dysgraphia in Kids?

When kids struggle with writing skills, it may impact how well they learn and perform at school. Watch this video to learn more about writing challenges and how you can help your child improve their writing skills. Difficulties with writing is a common symptom of a specific learning difference known as dysgraphia. In this video, Gary Troia, PhD, CCC-SLP, explains dysgraphia and the common symptoms associated with this learning difference. Dysgraphia may affect transcription skills such as handwriting, typing, and spelling. While kids with dysgraphia may find it difficult to learn, it has nothing to do with intelligence.
