Планування квартири правильної форми. З окремою приватною зоною зі спальнею і гардеробом. Особливістю квартири можна вважати стелі 4 метри. Звідси з'явилась можливість зробити високі карнизи і двері з класичними фрамугами. В зоні кухні достатньо місця для зберігання, враховуючи, що тут немає стандартних відвісних шаф. Більшість меблів в проекті-вінтаж. Наприклад, обідній стіл- це стіл бабусі, що було відреставровано, перед тим як потрапити в новий інтер'єр. Крісло, стільці, робочий стіл і багато іншого було знайдено на європейських сайтах і привезено в Київ. При цьому багато нових предметів, наприклад, диван і всі корпусні меблі, були виконані українськими підрядниками по ескізах дизайнера. В квартирі багато кольорових акцентів. Найяскравішим місцем можна вважати санвузол, що виконано в рожевій плитці, при тому що стеля пофарбовано в блакитний колір. Головною задачею дизайнера, було зробити інтер'єр, де немає відчуття криштально нового і стерильного простору. Навіть не виходячи з квартири, ви точно знаходитесь в спокійному історичному центі міста, де можна і попрацювати і відпочити. The apartment is located in the center of historical Kiev. Designer’s task was to create an interior for a young female graphic designer. The layout of the apartment has a regular shape. In a situation like that, architects usually create an open space, keeping, perhaps, only a bathroom separate. Here, the owner of the apartment wished to divide the bedroom and a more active zone as well as separate the wardrobe. One of the apartment’s distinctive features is a considerable ceiling height of 4 meters. This allowed us to use tall doors with classic transoms. Kitchen area has a lot of storage, even considering the absence of hanging cabinets. Most of the furniture used in the project is vintage. For example, in the dining area we have placed a refurbished table left to the owner by her grandmother. As for the other furniture, such as an armchair, dining chairs, a desk, - a lot of it was bought from all over Europe and delivered to Kiev. At the same time, items like sofa and a lot of cabinet furniture are new and were made from the designer’s own sketches. The apartment features many color accents with the bathroom being one of the most distinctive examples. There, the floor and walls are covered in pink tiles with the ceiling painted blue. One of the main objectives for the designer was to develop an interior that wouldn’t create an impression of a brand new, almost sterile space. Instead, we wanted to leave people with the feeling that they didn’t have to step out of the apartment to experience a quiet historical center of Kiev - a perfect space to relax and work.
