Here are some tips on how to properly care for hoyas in an apartment for their growth and flowering: 1. **Suitable place**: Hoyas love bright but diffused light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause burns on the leaves. The ideal place for hoya can be a window facing east or west. 2. **Temperature**: Hoyas prefer a warm climate. They feel comfortable at temperatures from 18 to 24 degrees Celsius. Avoid sudden changes in temperature. 3. **Watering**: Water your Hoya moderately, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. In summer, the plant requires more moisture than in winter. Make sure the pot has holes to allow excess moisture to drain to avoid root rot. 4. **Humidity**: Hoyas appreciate high humidity. If the air in your home is too dry, you can use a humidifier or mister to maintain optimal humidity levels. 5. **Fertilizer**: During the active growth period in spring and summer, fertilize your Hoya every two weeks with houseplant fertilizer. Stop fertilizing during the winter months when the plant is dormant. 6. **Soil Requirements**: Hoyas prefer light, well-drained soil.
