Timothy Lake Fishing | CATCHING Trout From The KAYAK And From SHORE (ULTRALIGHT Setup)

Timothy Lake fishing for trout in the Mount Hood National Forest. I will be kayak fishing for trout (trolling) as i make my way across the lake to fish from shore with my ultralight fishing setup. I have fished timothy lake quite a bit already this season and have managed to catch a lot of big trout and some Kokanee as well. I have been mainly kayak fishing on the lake, which has produced the most trout but fishing from shore has produced some decent trout as well. My trolling setup for Kokanee and trout has been a simple one, just a 1oz sinker setup on a snap swivel running on my mainline, to a bead, then swivel, about 18" of leader running to my dodger, then running a wedding ring setup behind that. I didn't have to fish very deep to start getting bites from the trout, but when it comes to kokanee, you typically need to be fishing a bit deeper, especially as spring turns into summer and the water begins to warm.
