Portugal is famous for its fabulous beaches and picturesque coastlines, but it has much more to offer. In this episode, we set out to discover the highest peak in the Algarve region – Mount Foia. Although at first the weather didn’t cooperate and required a bit of patience, it eventually rewarded us with breathtaking views. But that’s not all, because the local delicacy – bread with cheese – turned out to be an absolute hit that everyone should try while staying in this part of Portugal. Next, we move on to the charming town of Monchique, located in the heart of the Serra de Monchique mountains. There, we visited a few unusual places that surprised us with their history and atmosphere: the abandoned monastery of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, the unique art gallery Studio Bongard Ceramics, and… the liquor store Loja do Mel e do Medronho.
