Gabriel Rolón is a psychoanalyst, musician, and writer. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1961. He studied at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires. He graduated and specialized in psychoanalysis, a discipline he promotes through both his academic work and his active participation in the media. He was a speaker at the World Congress of Psychoanalysis in Mexico City and leads psychoanalytic training workshops at local and international universities. His first book, Historias de diván (2007), a psychoanalytic work, was an unusual bestseller in Argentina and was published in Germany, Spain, Uruguay, Bulgaria, Mexico, and Brazil—a phenomenon that was repeated with his second book, *Palabras cruzadas*, and with the publication of *Los padecientes*, his first novel, which was translated into French, Portuguese, and Italian, and adapted into a film. The cases he presents in his works are used to study psychoanalytic clinical practice at universities in Argentina, Paraguay, Spain, and Brazil.
