Seal diving in Stockholm?!
The Stockholm Archipelago is quite unique! There are more than 30 000 islands over 1680 square kilometers. I love it! But the water isn't as clear as on the west coast of Sweden. However, in some places you can dive with grey seals! Two weeks ago we went out with Stockholms Dykcenter to do just that! This was my first underwater experience with seals in the Stockholm Archipelago. ( Last year we dove with harbour seals on the west coast of Sweden. Check out that video here: • Snorkeling with Seals | Sälsafari Lotshot... ) Were were extremely lucky that we met this curious seal. It could have easily swam away instantly, but it came back to check us out, over and over. This was one of the best diving experiences I've had since diving with orcas and humpback whales in Norway. After the first dive, we went back closer to the main land and had our second dive at an old wreck from the late 1800-hundreds. The ship was called "Margareta af Vätö". You can read more about it here: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margare...
