US military deploys weaponized sea drone against Iran | FOX 10 Talks

U.S. Central Command released a first-of-its-kind video showing an unmanned surface vessel targeting an Iranian midget submarine facility. The weaponized drone carried a large warhead and successfully destroyed a submarine that was positioned on a crane for maintenance repairs. This operation marks the first time the U.S. military has deployed this type of weaponized robotic warfare, which possesses limited artificial intelligence capabilities to make autonomous adjustments during active operations. Beyond the drone strike, international tensions remain high as a naval blockade resumes in the Strait of Hormuz, placing significant economic pressure on the regime. Iran has retaliated by firing drones and cruise missiles, targeting tankers and locations throughout the region, including an incident in Kuwait that injured three-four defensive service members. In response to the volatile shipping lanes, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are working to expand pipeline infrastructure to move crude exports directly to the Red Sea, bypassing the strategic strait entirely. The military conversation on FOX 10 Talks also highlighted similarities between the American naval drone strategy and the creative sea baby drones used by Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea. The drone campaign in Ukraine has successfully disrupted shipping in the Sea of Azov and restricted land bridge access to the Crimean Peninsula. Consequently, the region faces severe economic strain.
