FreeCAD 1.0 is now out. And the second major new feature of this version is the introduction of a promising integrated assembly workbench called Assembly. This video is the first part of our exploration: we'll create a very simple assembly. In a second video, we'll create a slightly more complex assembly and look at some potential challenges in the process. This video was created with FreeCAD 1.0.0 in December 2024, but should remain relevant for quite some time for 1.X versions of the software.
