I walked the historic Nikko Kaido, one of the major highways of the Edo period, from Nihonbashi in Tokyo to Nikko Toshogu Shrine in Tochigi Prefecture — a journey of about 144 km completed over four days. This video is a compilation of the Old Nikko Kaido walking journey, originally released as an eight-part series, now divided into two compilation videos: the first half and the second half. In this second half, I have combined the two-day journey from Koga-shuku to Nikko Toshogu Shrine into one video.
