The NEW Early Times BiB Bourbon vs The Two Previous Versions - BLIND REVIEW

Oh, boy. There's been so much misinformation and strong claims about this bottle ever since Sazerac bought the Early Times brand, mash bill, and yeast strain over four years ago. Now that the Sazerac-owned Barton-1792 distillery is finally making the distillate inside the bottle, reviews have been coming out in droves. Some reviews seem to be middling, saying it's not bad but nothing like the old Brown-Forman made version, while others have been scathing. In an effort to keep our opinions uncolored, we try to stay clear of knowing what other reviewers in WhiskeyTube think of a whiskey until we've been able to make up our minds about it, but our comminity has pointed out several of these these reviews to us already. So, we'll do what we can to combat this but trying the Barton made version against the Brown-Forman distilled and Barton bottled version (blue cap), and the Brown-Forman distilled and bottled version (black cap), all blind. The new Barton version comes in the same bottle that Benchmark comes in (a brand made by Buffalo Trace who is also owned by Sazerac) which means it is now in a 750ml bottle instead of the liter bottle of the previous two iterations which effects the value in a negative way.
