Stuck in Cameroon's Biggest Traffic Jam - Overlanding AFRICA

Join Mochi Overland as we continue our journey through Cameroon! In this episode, we tackle the drive to Douala, but things don’t exactly go to plan. We hit a massive traffic jam that turns a simple drive into an all-day mission, resulting in a late-night arrival in the city. After the chaos of Douala, we head south to the coastal town of Kribi for a much-needed change of pace. We visit the stunning Lobé Waterfall—one of the few places in the world where a waterfall empties directly into the Atlantic Ocean. It’s the perfect reward after a long few days on the road. In this video: The reality of driving in Douala traffic. Arriving in a new city after dark. Exploring the beautiful coast of Kribi. Visiting the famous Lobé Waterfall. Our Story: It all started in Australia back in 2015—two travelers who realized they shared the same hunger for discovery. After years of saving in Switzerland, we found Mochi, our vintage Mercedes van, and spent years converting her into our self-contained home on wheels. We’re currently crossing Africa, proving every day that you don't need a 4x4 to have a world-class adventure!
