Fishing The Oliver Edwards Bluebottle Klinkhamer - A hot day, no hatch, but still, plenty of fish.
Oliver Edwards @LearnFlyFishing gives a masterclass in dry fly search fishing on a hot Summer's day with no hatch on. He's fishing with his version of Hans van Klinken's famous fly. He's named the Bluebottle Klinkhamer, a black body with blue ribs. It does not represent bluebottles but a whole range of terrestrial flies that might get blown onto the water during the long, hot day of Summer when very few aquatic flies are hatching. Like the original, it is a great search pattern.
