The location of the series is the Fort, a stronghold established to prevent the creatures from Blackwell from advancing further north and a checkpoint that collaborates with the capital, New Galleon. The Fort is controlled by multiple groups: The Guild, Coven, Provincial Guard, Tradesmen, Mercenaries, Vagabonds and Church, all of which work together to create a functional community. Takes place in the New World.
