The plot of the game “After Us” is devoted to the fantastic theme of the birth of a new civilization of apes on our planet after humans did leave the Earth for some reason. In the absence of humans, nature regained power over the planet, and the apes began to gather in tribes, develop and master the artifacts created by humans. In the game, you will act as the leader of the ape tribe, and your task is to help your tribesmen reach the highest level of sanity. This level is indicated on the victory points track. Whoever reaches the “80” mark first will be the winner. At the beginning of each round, all players simultaneously take 4 monkey cards from their deck and place them in a row so that special frames match them. These frames allow players to get resources with which they can further develop the tribe, add and remove monkey cards, get victory points, and enjoy the benefits of the dead human civilization. The game “After Us” is magnificently designed. Gradually replenishing the deck with stronger cards allows players to feel their tribes getting stronger and smarter.
