Lower Pecos River Expedition hosted by Far West Texas Outfitters

We wanted to do Thanksgiving a little different this year with our friends from Far West Texas Outfitters, who i guide for when they need me out west. FWTO wanted to do a 7 day 40 plus mile trip and we were in along with friends and guests who are now friends too! What a trip we had paddling some intense rapids for loaded down canoes. We were also greeted with some fired up bass especially on the sunny days, we did get some rainy cold days but you got to have a rough day or three on a real river expedition. The wind was nice to us at least even getting some tail winds here and there. We ate like kings out there as always with or chef Mike owner of FWTO, seriously dude needs to write a river cook book. We did a little hunting early mornings but with YT being weird left it out but basically had a 2nd Thanksgiving last day and drank a 100 beers lol. This river is everything you want in a river trip, rapids, epic fishing for bass and catfish, you can hunt, you can explore, theres rocks art and doodles and youre not going to see a soul out there.
