my first Indian train ride - from Payyanur to Kochi, Kerala

We used to prefer travelling by trains in India, which we did a lot. But that was before the pandemic and my pregnancy. So it had been a couple of years since my last train on the Indian railways before Annika and I joined Vinod on his work trip to Kochi. For Annika, this was her first train ride ever. This had me a little worried, but quite excited too. A few things have changed after the pandemic, but taking a train in India can still be a fun adventure (travelling with a small baby requires a good deal of planning though)!
