3rd Morey Bodyboard International Contest - Pipeline Hawaii - December 1984

This is a real piece of history - from way back in the early days of competitive professional bodyboarding. "The Beach Special" was originally broadcast on US cable channel ESPN in 1985. Featured were some of the pioneers of the sport: Mike Stewart, Jack "the Ripper" Lindholm, Daniel Kaimi, Pat Caldwell, "JP" Patterson - and top Australian bodyboarders Evan Penglis & Tony Sykes. It includes an ultra-rare TV commercial for Morey Bodyboards which was filmed at Oahu's Sandy Beach with Ben Severson, Keith Sasaki, David Cuniff, Pat Caldwell & Lisa Miller.
