LORD, please give me MORE FAITH | Daily Prayer | 7/14/2026

Heavenly Father, I bow before You, not with confidence in my own goodness, but with a heart desperate for grace that only flows from Your hand. You know me fully, Lord, every trembling doubt, every cracked place within, every whispered question I’m too afraid to voice aloud. I long to trust You wholly, yet my faith sometimes feels like a threadbare cloak barely shielding me from the storm. But even then, You never shame me, You meet me, like You met Thomas, with wounds still visible and love still extended. You said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29) So I confess my unbelief not with pride, but with a spirit surrendered, crying, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Let my doubts become doorways to deeper communion, my questions seeds that grow roots into richer soil. Father, when I sink like Peter beneath waves of fear, reach into the deep and draw me up again with mercy in Your eyes. I declare that Your faithfulness is greater than my failure, Your truth stronger than the lies that tempt me to despair. Holy Spirit, move through the barren places of my soul like wind through dry bones and breathe life where discouragement has settled. When I feel like I am groping in the dark, be the lamp at my feet, whispering, “This is the way; walk in it.” Train my heart to see You, not in thunder and fire, but in the still small voice that speaks peace. You said, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13) So I press forward, not in perfect faith, but in relentless pursuit of the God who first pursued me. Let the uncertainty refine me, like gold in the fire, until only what is of You remains. When I stumble, remind me that Abraham also faltered, yet You called him righteous because he dared to hope against all odds. Like soil turned by the plow, let my heart be broken open to receive the seed of Your Word. Let that seed take deep root, so that trust may grow wild and unshakable amid the storms. When feelings betray me and prayers feel unanswered, anchor me in the truth that You do not change. You said, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” (Isaiah 40:8) I declare that Your promises are not moved by the winds of my emotions, they are eternal, firm, and sure. Strengthen my inner being so that faith might rise like dawn breaking over night’s long hold. Even faith the size of a mustard seed is enough when it is planted in the goodness of Your character. Help me not to strive for grand performances of belief, but to rest like a child on their Father’s lap. Open my spiritual eyes to see that even now, You are working all things together for my good. Where I’ve allowed doubt to wall off parts of my heart, tear down those barriers and rebuild me with truth. I receive, even now, the assurance that I am held, not because of my grip on You, but because of Yours on me. By the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, I pray and declare, Amen. ****************************************************** Related Scripture: Hebrews 4:16 Mark 9:24 2 Timothy 1:12 Isaiah 41:10 Romans 8:28 Matthew 17:20 1 Peter 5:10 ****************************************************** Welcome to Dear God Daily Prayer, This channel is to help us seek God daily, give Him thanks, and declare our Trust in Jesus EVERY DAY!
