Our journey in Val Venosta begins before the deep blue waters of Lake Resia, where the ancient Romanesque bell tower of Curon emerges from the waters as a silent witness to a submerged and tormented history, linked to the construction of the dam in 1950. After going with the strength of the wind during an exciting first kitesurfing lesson, we venture within the medieval walls of Glorenza, the smallest fortified village in South Tyrol. Here we meet the young chef and historian Thomas Ortler, who opens the doors to his kitchen based on the principles of recovery and zero-kilometer circular sustainability. We then move on to discover the extremely pure and resistant white marble of Lasa, extracted directly in tunnels at 1575 meters so as not to alter the surface of the Stelvio National Park, before hiking up the woodland trails to the Covelano Alm.
