Dayana began by recalling that while trapped in the debris, her only concern was knowing about her son. "It brought me peace. In fact, I was the one who asked them to bring him out first because they wanted to bring us both out together, but when I saw them take him and stabilize him, that's when my body felt peace," she recounted. "I didn't think about myself, only about my son being saved," Dayana said, adding that this was one of her greatest anxieties at that moment; she even thought she wouldn't make it out alive.
