The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft Is Almost Brilliant

The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft might be the least complicated colour e-ink tablet I’ve used. Setup is effortless, my existing notebooks appear automatically, and the colour looks lovely. The writing surface is quite slippery, the screen flashes too frequently in notebooks, and Amazon’s included pen cannot use the full range of tilt supported by the display. It’s a strangely avoidable flaw. In this first look, I unbox the 32GB version and test the screen, setup, note syncing, handwriting, drawing, colour tools and stylus compatibility.
