No. 20 in C Minor (35:16) Restored from Seraphim LP 60024 Shostakovich recorded 18 of the 24 pieces for EMI in five recording sessions 1951-1952, 1956, and 1958. This is the same performance of No. 24 as on EMI Classics CD "Composers in Person" which contains 1, 4, 5, 23 and 24. Numbers 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 23, and 24 are on a Russian Revelations CD. As far as I know this LP contains the only release of Nos. 6, 7, 8, 20, and 22.
