Preacher: Yuri Vasilievich Main Bible Passage: Exodus 13-14 Sermon Description: In this sermon, we continue to explore the theme of God's comprehensive care for us. The Lord cares for every detail in our lives, and His care extends far beyond the boundaries of earthly existence, opening up eternal horizons for us. Using the example of the Israelite exodus from Egypt, we see how God strategically leads His people, protecting them from dangers they cannot withstand. Today, we will consider four important truths about how God cares for His children along their journey. Sermon Points: 1. God protects us – He does not lead us by shortcuts if they involve a war we cannot withstand. The Lord chooses a roundabout way to protect us from destruction and directs us in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even if the path seems long and difficult, God knows we need time to cleanse ourselves from past slavery. 2. God leads us – He goes before us like a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, sheltering us from the heat and illuminating the way. Today, our guide is the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth and stops us when we are about to take a wrong turn. 3. God allows trials – sometimes we face the sea before us, and the sound of pursuit is heard behind us. God allows these difficulties so that we may be strengthened in faith, purified like gold in a furnace, and so that God's glory may be revealed through our lives. Do not be dismayed when temptations arise. 4. God saves and protects – when the path seems hopeless, God reveals His power. He splits the sea and leads us on dry land, and He drowns our enemies. This victory is not achieved by our own strength, but by the Lord's power, so that we may know that He is Lord. Application: Trust God in circumstances you now do not understand. If you find yourself in a desert or at the edge of the sea, know that this is no accident. Surrender to His will, test every step against God's Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Remember that the shortcut is not always the best, and that through trials the Lord prepares you for greater glory. Time Codes: 0:07 – Beginning of the Sermon.
