Taiwanese Hamburger (Gua Bao 割包) STREET FOOD IN TAIPEI, TAIWAN!!

Welcome back to our second channel! Today we are taking you out for lunch in TAIPEI, TAIWAN for some traditional Taiwanese Street Food. We are exploring the beautiful Songshan District in Taipei, and checking out a famous street food/restaurant that serves Gua Bao, also known as the Taiwanese Hamburger. Gua bao is a steamed bun stuffed with tender braised pork, pickled greens, peanut powder and cilantro. We also ordered another traditional item - sweet corn and ribs soup. The combination of the gua bao and soup was AMAZING! Gua bao: 55 NTD each (USD $1.84) Corn soup: 65 NTD each (USD $2.17) Next up, we check out the nearby Wufenpu Shopping District which sells wholesale fashion. It's MASSIVE and CHEAP! We were looking for a duffle bag and found one on the outskirts of the shopping market. Also nearby is the Raohe Night Market, which we decided to visit to find a Taiwanese dessert known as Dou Hua, or tofu pudding. There are many varieties of dou hua and we ordered peanut tofu pudding. It was served in a sweet syrup water with soft peanuts and served very cold. Although it wasn't the best version we've tried, it was very refreshing on a hot and humid day in Taipei.
