Jason Richardson 7-String Cutlass | Sterling by Music Man | REVIEW

Hello internet! Rob from A Minor Error here and I'm excited to bring my second Sterling by Music Man review to my channel, this time a Jason Richardson 7-String Cutlass. The look and vibe of this guitar is absolute bad ass, it's modern and aggressive just like you would expect from shredder extraordinaire Jason Richardson. It features 24 nickel frets with locking tuners and a fully floating bridge. It also comes with a pretty nice padded gig bag that is definitely a cut above what other manufacturers are offering at this price point (which is mostly no case at all). This guitar looks to provide the look and general tone and features of the full on Music Man model but at a more affordable price point. The general fit and finish and tone woods are pretty good considering this is an intermediate/budget level instrument but sadly the hardware lets it down. The bridge is this guitar achilles heel. It won't flutter and struggles to stay in tune despite the locking tuners. The lower horn has also been sculpted to make playing on the higher frets easier standing up...but unfortunately this modification makes the guitar very uncomfortable to play sitting down.
