July 12 2019 NC PPSB BLET Day Walk/Shoot-Thru

On Friday, July 12, 2019 I shot the Day and Night North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (NCPPSB or PPSB) "Qualification Courses of Fire (Day and Night)" for "registration" as an "Armed Security Guard". It has been almost five years since the 'almost' complete walk/shoot-thru (    • Nov 21 2015 Complete Walk/Shoot-Thru NC PP...   ) so I decided to record this one and make it a "really" complete walk/shoot-thru. Link to the Night Walk/Shoot-Thru (8/1/19):    • July 12 2019 NC PPSB BLET Night Walk/Shoot...   To get "registered" as a guard you have to score 80.0 or better. To be "certified" as a "PPSB Firearms Trainer" you have to shoot 90.0 or better, two out of three attempts. Law Enforcement in NC shoots the exact same qualification courses of fire. The Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) standard is that to be "certified" as law enforcement in NC you must shoot 70.0 or better. Some agencies require the 80.0 standard for their officers/agents/deputies. To become "certified" as a "Law Enforcement Specialized Instructor - Firearms" you have to shoot 92.0 or better, two out of three attempts. It was 107 "real feel" degrees down in the bay at H2O Fowl Farms ( http://h2ofowlfarmsnc.com ). All of my gear (below) comes from Gunners Choice Outfitters, Dunn, NC.   / gunners-choice-outfitters-269051406372   [ Disclaimer: H2O & GCO and "the gear companies" are not "sponsors" and provided no "valuable consideration" for their mention here. ] The gear: Gun: Glock 19 Gen4 with Trijicon Sights (no other mods) Magazines: Glock "factory" 10 and 15 round Holster: Blackhawk Serpa *** "I love it when Gun-People blame an inanimate object for people pulling triggers." Magazine Pouch/Carrier: Blackhawk Double Double-Stack Ammunition: Blazer Brass 115 grain 9mm FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) video recorded on iPad (2-point-0), transferred to MacBook Pro 2009-2010, transferred to "Windows 7 64-Bit" via USB, edited with Corel VideoStudio 7 Ultimate (32-bit) Final Score: 99.2 out of 100 Notes: I load 50 rounds into 5 magazines as follows: 12-8-12-12-6 (the 8-round magazine goes into the front "pouch" for the first reload during the "broken string of fire", the 6-round magazine stays at the 25 yard line because it's the last one) at the 7 Yard Line Part Two a 'quick' storm was passing 'danger close' and it darkened up so much that you can see muzzle-flash during approximately 80% of the shooting (40/50 rounds) you can see my right (shooting-hand, strong-hand/side) thumb sticking UP and OVER the slide from the left side of the gun. Want to know more and how that has everything to do with "physics, not physical strength in controlling the recoil of a handgun"? (leave a comment or 'hop' at the link below) during all loading and reloading the muzzle never left the target Extra-Special Thanks to Chris "Mayhem" Mayhue for many great classes and the "make use of the time" and/or "take advantage of the time" ~years~ of instruction regarding the 25 yard line. "I finally did it, Chris! 50.1!" Complete Courses of fire, PPSB info, 'my' training ("Mindset-Skillset-Toolset"), and more 'over' at my company's website: http://imfscorp.com/ Thanks for watching, reading, and everything else. ( 2D )(Coded message for some One) ...and, finally: "WE ALL FLOAT DOWN HERE!" thumb, sub, bell-thingy
