Departure: 2026/07/18 17:25 Vehicle: 5543 . RK3352 Hong Kong Island Urban Bus Route 8H, operated by Citybus, runs between Chai Wan (East) and Tung Wah Eastern Hospital. It passes through Chai Wan Road, Shau Kei Wan Road, and King's Road. The section between Causeway Bay and Siu Sai Wan is largely the same as Route 8 before it was changed to an express route, the only difference being that this route passes through Wan Tsui Road instead of the Hong Tsui Terrace area. This route aims to facilitate direct access to Tung Wah Eastern Hospital for residents of the Eastern District (especially the elderly). The "H" in the route number stands for Hospital. To this end, New World First Bus will convert six Enviro500 MMC 12-meter double-decker buses (5617-5619, 5621-5622, 51462) to include an additional wheelchair parking space. These six buses, equipped with two wheelchair parking areas, will be prioritized for operation. July 18, 2026: The route from Siu Sai Wan (Blue Bay Peninsula) will be extended to Chai Wan (East).
