How To Do A French Running Braid On Your Horse
Let's face it, more and more dressage horses are the "non-traditional" type and tend to have long manes based on breed standards. It is customary with these horses to do a french running braid down the horse's neck instead of cutting the mane short to do the standard button braids. But, how often do you attempt to do the running braid, only to have it droop lower and lower down the neck, instead of staying nice and high along the crest? In this video, I'll show you how I've learned to do this braid and keep it looking really nice and professional for the show ring, without having to spend all the extra money to pay a professional to do it for you! As always, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments below and I'd be happy to answer them for you.
