Baroque Flamenco - D.Henson-Conant for Harp and Percussion

This brilliant, modern piece was composed by the contemporary American harpist Deborah Henson-Conant, based on a theme by J.J.Rousseau in Spanish Style. It's really a powerful piece, which mixes guitar techniques like rasgueado and imitates the tap dance of the dancer with the finger on the soundboard. I wanted to add some more "colour" playing with the cajon, alternating rhythms together and cadenzas a solo. Funny story: we were totally improvising our "version", so it was very difficult to choose between the recordings because every time it was so different! I hope you'll enjoy!
