Found footage from Govan Old Church 1960s

In 2019 two mysterious vintage cannisters of film reel were discovered in the basement of Govan Old Church as Govan Heritage Trust prepared to renovate the building. We decided to send the unlabelled cannisters for digitisation, with no idea what footage would be returned. We are delighted to present the resulting found footage here, for the first time. Watch 1960s Govan Old in colour, including a packed Christmas service featuring trundling 60s BBC film cameras, and a colourful procession in the ancient churchyard.
