Little River Pub, Mad Max Locations & 1866 Rothwell Bridge, Train Station, Trains Trains Vlog 86

📝 Description Today on The Daily Trev, I head out to explore the historic town of Little River, sitting right between Melbourne and Geelong. Dating back to 1839, Little River began as an important railway rest stop, servicing steam engines, rolling stock and travellers making the journey between the two major cities. This small town holds some seriously big history! I check out the iconic old pub, famously featured in Mad Max (1979), before grabbing a well-earned beer at the modern Little River Hotel. From there, I explore the incredible Rothwell Bridge, built in 1866 along the original Melbourne to Geelong Road — a true piece of Victorian engineering still standing strong today. Nearby, we also visit the famous Mad Max chimneys filming location, another awesome blast from the past. To finish off, I wander through the historic Little River Railway Station, taking in the atmosphere as trains thunder through this still-busy rail line. A small town packed with history, movie moments, and great vibes — definitely worth the visit! 🔥 Tags Little River Victoria, Mad Max locations, Mad Max 1 filming locations, Little River Pub Mad Max, Rothwell Bridge, historic Victoria Australia, Melbourne to Geelong, Victorian history, railway history Australia, steam train history, Australian road trip, hidden gems Victoria, explore Victoria, daily vlog Australia, the daily trev, dirt road 4x4, Aussie travel vlog    / @dirtroad4x4   Australia Joined Jul 13, 2007 2.898K subscribers 345videos 824,722 views
