First, we came across a beautiful Jispa Valley. The valley views were breathtaking and a great start to our day. Then we reached Darcha, a checkpost of Indian Army. Vehicle details are taken by army personnel here. Next we reached ZingZingBar and had our breakfast there. If you are hungry then have your meal here. You may not find another restaurant till Pang with is another 100 Kms from here. Next we reached Suraj Tal. Its a majestic lake situated at an altitude of 16400 Ft and is vey close to BaralachaLa. The view of Suraj Tal is simply breathtaking with almost frozen lake and snow covered mountains surrounding it. Then its the GREAT BaralachaLa, at an altitude of 15910 Ft. Its majestic with snow covered mountains. But its very touristic place and was very very crowded so plan your travel accordingly. Then its time for Gata Loops.Gata Loops are made of 21 hairpin turn and you will experience a sharp altitude rise from 15000 Ft to 17000 Ft. Roads are very narrow and mostly its off road. Be careful with your ride. Then comes Nakeela Top at 15547 Ft followed by LachungLa at 16616 Ft. Roads to both these places are very very bad and you will need a lot of time to cover the offroad. If you have an adventure motorcycle like Himalayan or BMW then you are in for fun. But for other motorcycles it a tough job. We took our lunch break at Pang which is at 15280 Ft. It has some shops and very basic homestays. A lot of people experience high altitude sickness at Pang and there is certainly less oxygen here. So be careful and carry your oxygen cans and medicines with you. Then comes the MIGHTYYYY TANGLANGLA!!!!!! Of the whole circuit TanglangLa is the toughest for sure. Its 12th highest motorable pass in the World at the altitude of 17482 Ft as per records of 2015. Roads are very bad specially once you cross TanglangLa and weather is extremely Chilly.
