Omaha Beach Tour Normandy, France 2026

Since it's Memorial Day, we wanted to share our recent trip to Omaha Beach, which is located in Normandy, France. This is the location of D-Day, The Invasion of Normandy, which took place on June 6th, 1944. I cannot express how heavy it felt to stand on this beach, knowing what took place there. The History Of D-Day... The United States was assisted by a massive coalition of Allied nations, primarily led by the United Kingdom and Canada. Out of the estimated 156,000 troops that landed in Normandy on the first day, about 83,000 were British and Canadian, while 73,000 were American. This invasion on June 6th, 1944 was dubbed “D-Day”, The Invasion Of Normandy.
