Shaping and finishing blanks is one of the most crucial stages in creating scale models. Hold the engraver just slightly incorrectly while working, and the edges are smoothed out. You'll have to fill and redo the work later. Even the way you hold this tool affects the process. I hold it by the middle of the body to avoid blocking the ventilation holes. Without them, the drill heats up quickly. In some cases, a flexible shaft is better, but not in all. Avoid applying too much pressure when working with the tool, as the motor can overheat and burn out.
