#YtCrash - The Karmawibhangga relief inscriptions have been previously discussed by Professor Kern. In his research, Kern examined the transliteration and translation of these inscriptions. The inscriptions were found on 35 relief panels, some of which are legible and a small number are barely legible. Kern also explained several points to consider. First, although in Sanskrit, the signs and interpretation are lacking. Second, the inscriptions were not written by the same hand. Finally, Kern noted that the differences in the writing also explain the spelling differences. There are slight differences from those recognized by Panini, for example, in the words svargga and svarga (Krom, 1927: 49).
