3 STORY MALL ON LIFE SUPPORT-downtown mall- Charleston Town Center in Charleston, WV

What a beauty this mall is! Opened in 1983. But they’ve plastered over the empty storefronts and added local photos and it looks.. terrible. The occupancy at this mall is abysmal compared to even 6 years ago.It looks bland but the overall structure is still recognizable with its magnificent center court. There used to be a huge 3 story fountain in the 80s and 90s. Most malls don’t have a fountain at all and this one does, but compared to what it was it’s absolutely pathetic and dink looking. Who was in charge of destroying this malls looks?!? I was here in 2016 and it was doing well! With JcPenney leaving, there will be zero anchors at the mall. What does the future hold? Get rid of the $5 parking, that may help!
