At 4.61 meters long, the EV5 offers plenty of space. The trunk holds 566 liters, expanding to a maximum of 1,560 liters with the rear seats folded down. A loading length of two meters is possible. The interior features numerous storage compartments and flexible solutions such as a double load floor and adjustable rear seats. A large display combines three screens. The controls remain easily accessible. The electric motor delivers 218 hp and drives the front axle. The EV5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, and its top speed is 165 km/h. The 400-volt architecture allows charging from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes. The 81.4 kWh battery provides a range of over 500 kilometers according to WLTP, and around 400 kilometers in everyday driving. The starting price is approximately €46,000.
